Invisible children pumps most of it’s donations to the Uganda Military. Not to the children. Their idea is “Stop the man, stop the violance” but that’s not going to work. The LRA is a small player in a much larger problem.
At least if the money was going to the ground and literally helping the children and victims then I could justify buying the 25 Dollar pack, but it’s going to a currupt military. The Ugandan military has looted, pilliedged and raped themselves.
You know, all of the world mocks the American government for supplying Afgan weapons during the cold war, only to be at war with them themselves 30 years later. Guess what world, you’re doing the same thing.
Oh btw, after 20 years of this, wonder why America is suddenly interested in taking action. Oh that’s right, Oil was recently discovered in Uganda. Silly me.
